Hi Ankur – thanks for your comment. I’m glad to have found your website. I believe the properties of EO’s are beneficial to our minds and bodies. While fragrance oils can provide nice scents, I recommend people verify they have been tested in a lab to ensure their safety. Dealers will pass on the cost to the consumer, but it’s generally a small amount – and SO worth it!

Essential Oils are basically not just the oils, greasy and lighter light water. Essential Oils are basically the soul of particular plant material and having the real properties of living organism. They never have the sharp smell, they are highly acceptable in human body via messages and other means. Fragrance oils are just the compounds made from chemical molecules and finally synthesized in particular aroma. Hi Barbara-Ann, I actually wrote about counterfeit perfumes a while back. One of the studies showed that it contained urine and pondwater. So gross!

Linda, that’s a great point. Lab analyses on many counterfeit perfumes and cosmetics have uncovered unthinkable ingredients. Some of the most disturbing actually included body fluids or dirty water. Ick!:-(

I’m curious – has anyone ever experienced a rash or burn from a counterfeit perfume?

You are absolutely right. People need to be careful when purchasing products. This is also another reason why counterfeit perfumes are really, really bad.
